Why this matters: This vocabulary turns up in every skill — a reading text about fair trade, a listening interview about honesty, a Paper 1 blog about responsible shopping, or your oral. Reusing the right topic words is how you score Criterion A (Language).
Have something to say: Examiners reward developed ideas, not just vocabulary. Around ethics, the common debates are: whether cheap products are worth their hidden human cost, honesty online and in school, and how far our everyday choices affect other people and the planet. Take a position and back it up.

Una pregunta, paso a paso
- The question — «Según el texto, ¿por qué decidió la persona cambiar de hábitos?»
- Find it in the text. Look for «un día»: «Un día leí que detrás de ese precio tan bajo había personas que trabajaban en malas condiciones. Me pareció injusto y decidí cambiar de hábitos.»
- The answer — Porque leyó que detrás del precio tan bajo había personas en malas condiciones y le pareció injusto.
Reading technique: For a «según el texto» (according to the text) question, find the exact line that proves your answer — don't rely on memory or general knowledge.
La tarea — your task: Tu colegio organiza una semana del consumo responsable. Escribe un blog para otros/as estudiantes: describe cómo consumías antes y da consejos para tomar decisiones más éticas en el día a día.
