What does a school licence cost?
A licence is per student seat, per year. What that comes to depends on how many students and which year groups, so tell us those and we will come back with a figure.
Can one department try it first?
Yes, and it is the usual way in. A single teacher can start a class today without talking to us at all — see the teachers’ page. A licence turns that into full access for their students and adds the school view.
Which qualifications are covered?
The IB Diploma today, across 20+ subjects at SL and HL. The platform is built around qualifications, so further exam boards join the same school account rather than a separate product.
Does the AI write the teaching material?
No. Notes, worked examples and practice questions are written by subject experts. AI marks written answers against the mark scheme and explains a step when a student is stuck.
Are official past-paper questions reproduced?
No. Every question a student answers is written by Aimnova. Past papers are used to work out what gets examined and how often, which is what the practice is weighted by — nothing official is reproduced or handed out.
Who marks written work, and can a teacher overrule it?
AI marks it against the mark scheme and writes the feedback. Any teacher can open the answer and change the mark, and where they have, their mark is the one that counts everywhere — the report, the mastery figures, the readiness estimate. The student is told their teacher marked it.
What do you need from us about data protection?
We can give your school what it needs to review Aimnova — our privacy documentation and our data-processing terms. If the school enrols students centrally rather than having them join their teacher’s class themselves, we can provide a school data-processing agreement and a notice for parents alongside it.
