01—The story

Why Aimnova exists

It started with watching my own kids struggle.

Two decades of helping students succeed

Over 20 years building online learning platforms that have helped 200,000+ students pass professional certification exams. Along the way, I studied the science of learning: how memory works, why spaced repetition beats cramming, and what actually makes knowledge stick.

Then came machine learning

I spent 3+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer, building high-performance systems from the ground up. Aimnova is where those two worlds meet: deep education experience combined with real engineering, powering adaptive study plans, intelligent flashcards, and AI-driven feedback that genuinely works.

Then my kids started the IB

My two children started the IB Diploma, and I saw the late nights, the overwhelm of six subjects at once, the stress of not knowing what to study next. I knew exactly what they needed. The problem was that no tool existed to deliver it.

So I built one. Aimnova is the platform I wished my own kids had: one that knows where you are, tells you exactly what to do next, and makes every study session count. Made at the kitchen table, between homework help and exam prep, by someone who has spent a lifetime making learning work.

What we believe

The principles behind every decision we make.

Students first, always

Every feature is tested against one question: does this actually help an IB student feel less overwhelmed and more prepared?

Smart, not more

The IB already has enough content. Aimnova focuses your time on what matters: weak areas, spaced revision, and targeted practice.

Built with real experience

Two kids in the IB Diploma, one in PYP, hundreds of exam papers, and real conversations about what works. Shaped by lived experience, not guesswork.
