VATER (ohne aufzusehen): Dein Essen ist kalt. TIM: Ich war heute in Hamburg, Papa. Beim Vorstellungsgespräch. VATER: Und die Werkstatt? TIM: Die Werkstatt war immer dein Traum. Nicht meiner.

- Einordnen. „Der Auszug stammt aus dem Theaterstück „Küchengespräche“ und steht in der Mitte des Stücks.“
- Was passiert. „Tim erzählt, dass er ein Vorstellungsgespräch in Hamburg hatte.“
- Figuren. „Der Vater wirkt verschlossen, denn er spricht, „ohne aufzusehen“.“
- Zitat. „Mit zwei Wörtern, „Nicht meiner“, lehnt Tim den Traum seines Vaters ab.“
