En una línea: Detectar un recurso solo vale la mitad; el análisis empieza cuando lo enlazas con lo que consigue el autor: técnica → efecto → significado.

‘El autor utiliza una metáfora.’ Vale, ¿y qué?

Esa pregunta —‘¿y qué?’— es la que hace sólida una respuesta en la Prueba 1. Nombrar el recurso es fácil y no basta; lo que de verdad cuenta es cerrar el círculo: explicar qué efecto produce y, sobre todo, para qué le sirve al autor. En las unidades anteriores aprendiste a detectar recursos. Aquí aprendes el gesto que los convierte en análisis. Fíjate en los tres pasos:

Técnica → efecto

Del recurso al efecto concreto. ‘La ciudad dormía’ es una personificación; el efecto es que la ciudad parece un ser vivo, tranquilo y ajeno a todo. Aquí ya no solo nombras: dices qué provoca.

Efecto → significado

Del efecto a la intención. Esa quietud sugiere indiferencia: la ciudad sigue su sueño mientras algo ocurre. Cierras el círculo respondiendo al ‘¿y qué?’ — qué idea transmite, qué busca el autor, qué siente el lector.

El paso clave: Encadena los tres pasos: nombra la técnica, precisa su efecto y remátalo con el significado (propósito). Si tu frase no llega al ‘¿y qué?’, aún no es análisis.

Ojo con esto: El error clásico es quedarse en el primer paso: ‘el autor usa una metáfora’ y punto. Eso es identificar, no analizar. Oblígate a seguir hasta el significado: ¿qué idea transmite?, ¿qué busca el autor?, ¿qué efecto produce en el lector? Sin ese cierre, el análisis (Criterio B) se queda a medias.
