What it is: You read a list of sentences about the recording. The instruction tells you how many are true (usually five). Tick exactly that many. Each right tick = 1 mark.
The instruction on the paper: Scegli le cinque affermazioni vere. [5] → Choose the five true statements. Some papers say quattro [4].
Short example: 3 of the 6 sentences are true
The instruction here says 3, so choose 3. Then show the answer.
D. L'atmosfera è diversa da come pensava. E. Trova facile salutare i cani adottati.
Last year I started volunteering at a dog shelter on the outskirts of Turin. At first I only went on Sundays, now on Wednesday afternoons too. I don't only clean: I walk the dogs and help with adoptions. I expected it to be sad, but instead the atmosphere is cheerful. The only thing I find hard is saying goodbye to a dog I've looked after for months, even if I know it's going to a family.

Affermazioni vere: una libreria in montagna
Read the six statements, play, choose three.
When I decided to open a bookshop in a village of three hundred people, everyone thought I was mad. They were half right: the first two years were very hard. Then I understood that selling books wasn't enough. Today we organise readings for children, a book club for the elderly and, in summer, meetings with authors in the square. Tourists even come from the city on purpose. I haven't got rich, that's for sure, but the village is livelier. My dream? That some young people decide to stay instead of moving to Milan.
