What it is: Two people talk. For each statement, tick who says or thinks it: one name, or Les deux (both). 1 mark per line.
The instruction on the paper: Pour chaque affirmation, cochez [✓] une option. → For each statement, tick one option. Qui pense quoi ? / Qui dit quoi ? → Who thinks what? / Who says what?

Example: Pour chaque affirmation, cochez [✓] une option.

Qui pense quoi ? For each line: Lucas, Manon or Les deux.

Lucas: I love family holidays. We always go to the seaside. Manon: Me too, I like going away with my parents. But one week is enough! Lucas: Oh no, for me two weeks is the minimum. Manon: And I prefer the mountains. At the beach I get bored quickly. Lucas: But we agree on one thing: without a phone, holidays are more relaxing. Manon: Yes, completely!

Fill the grid

1

Read the statements first

Find the idea in each line.

2

1st listen: who speaks

Note a name beside each idea.

3

Listen for agreement

Moi aussi, tout à fait: maybe both.

4

2nd listen: check

Confirm each tick, one per line.

Read → 1st listen: who → 2nd listen: check

One tick per line: Never tick two boxes. If both people say it, tick Les deux.

Pour chaque affirmation, cochez [✓] une option.

Qui dit quoi ? For each line: Inès, Yanis or Les deux.

Inès: I spend at least two hours a day on social media. Yanis: Two hours? I hardly use them, I prefer seeing my friends in person. Inès: It's true that it's better to see each other. But social media is handy for organising outings. Yanis: That I agree with, it's useful for that. Inès: The problem is that you always compare your life with other people's. Yanis: That never happens to me. I don't look at other people's photos.

  3. Les deux

The trap: Ça, je suis d'accord turns one person's idea into Les deux. Keep listening after the first speaker.

Do

  • Read every statement before the audio.
  • Listen for moi aussi, d'accord.
  • Tick one box per line.

Don't

  • Tick the first speaker and stop.
  • Tick two boxes on one line.
  • Forget the Les deux column.
