Name the three headings under Christian authority.
Answer
Divine authority: God and Jesus; authority of foundational figures, prophets and saints; church hierarchy and the authority of the person in different denominations.

Why does the guide cross-refer authority to the worship table?
Answer
Because the ministers list — pope or patriarch, bishop, priest, vicar, deacon, pastor, lay minister — is the authority answer. Who may preside and who governs are the same question.

The clause about whether the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father alone or from the Father and the Son. It contributed to the division between Eastern and Western Christianity — a single word in a creed.

What distinguishes Charismatic and Pentecostal Christianity?
Answer
A doctrinal claim rather than a style: the gifts of the Holy Spirit are expected to be exercised now, in the gathering itself, which is why the guide lists charismatic worship as a form of public worship.

What does non-denominationalism claim?

That a congregation need belong to no denomination — which is itself a position about where church authority sits rather than a doctrinal distinctive.
