En pocas palabras: Un buen análisis empieza en una palabra y termina en el mundo: aprende a tender el puente entre lo que dice un texto y la cuestión global que ilumina.

Un buen análisis empieza en una palabra y termina en el mundo.

Fíjate en cómo funciona: te detienes en una metáfora, en un adjetivo, en un silencio del narrador… y de repente ese pequeño detalle te habla de algo mucho más grande —de quién decide quién pertenece, de qué recordamos y qué olvidamos, de a quién se escucha y a quién se silencia. Eso que hay al otro lado del puente es un tema global, y el IB organiza esos temas en cinco grandes campos. Vamos a verlos y, sobre todo, a aprender a formularlos bien:

Los campos

El IB agrupa las cuestiones globales en cinco campos de indagación: cultura, identidad y comunidad; creencias, valores y educación; política, poder y justicia; arte, creatividad e imaginación; y ciencia, tecnología y medio ambiente. No son categorías rígidas: son puertas de entrada para preguntarte de qué habla un texto, en el fondo.

El enunciado enfocado

Un tema global no es una palabra suelta —‘la identidad’, ‘el poder’—, sino un enunciado preciso: ‘cómo la migración obliga a reinventar la identidad’. Fíjate en la diferencia: el segundo ya te dice qué vas a analizar y cómo lo ilumina el texto.

El paso clave: Concreta un tema global en una frase que una la cuestión con lo que el texto muestra de ella: no ‘el poder’, sino ‘cómo el lenguaje del poder silencia a quien no lo tiene’.
