Are IB German B mock exams available?
Yes — full Paper 1 and Paper 2 mocks at both SL and HL, on top of the exam-style practice built into the German B study units and exam vault.
How is German B assessed?
Paper 1 is one written task (25%), Paper 2 is listening plus reading (50%), and the individual oral is internally assessed (25%). The weightings are the same at SL and HL.
What is the difference between the SL and HL mocks?
The papers are the same shape at both levels. HL gives you a longer Paper 1 task (450–600 words in 1 hour 30 minutes against 250–400 in 1 hour 15), a full hour of listening rather than 45 minutes, and denser reading texts.
