En bref: Analyser un texte, ce n’est pas le résumer : c’est nommer un choix de l’auteur, en expliquer l’effet sur le lecteur, puis le relier au sens de l’extrait.

Un bon lecteur d’examen lit comme un détective sur une scène de crime : rien n’est là par hasard.

Chaque virgule, chaque mot cru, chaque phrase trop longue est un indice laissé par l’auteur. Ton travail n’est pas de raconter ce qui se passe, mais de montrer pourquoi c’est écrit ainsi. Pour ça, tu appliques toujours la même démarche, dans le même ordre :

Repérer un choix

L’auteur aurait pu écrire autrement — il a choisi CE mot, CETTE image, CE rythme. Repère un choix précis et cite-le : « la nuit était un mur ». Sans citation, il n’y a pas d’analyse, seulement une impression.

Expliquer l’effet

Demande-toi : et alors ? Quel effet ce choix produit-il sur le lecteur, et que sert-il (visée, destinataire, sens de l’extrait) ? C’est là que se joue la note.

Le geste clé: Construis la phrase dans l’ordre choix → effet → et alors ? : nomme le choix, cite-le, explique l’effet sur le lecteur, puis relie-le à la visée ou au sens de l’extrait.

Pourquoi ça compte à l’examen: À l’Épreuve 1, repérer un procédé ne suffit pas : ce qui compte, c’est que tu interprètes ce qu’obtient l’auteur et que tu le relies au sens. Une copie qui étiquette sans expliquer plafonne.
