Key concepts in Planifier l’essai

Key Idea: Planifier l’Épreuve 2 commence par une thèse comparative. Tu la découpes ensuite en trois idées communes, et chacune devient un paragraphe sur les deux œuvres.

La thèse comparative

  • Réponds à la question exacte, pas au thème général.
  • Tiens les deux œuvres ensemble avec « mais », « tandis que », « là où ».
  • Vise les choix des auteurs (structure, voix, images), pas l’intrigue.

Planifier l'essai comparatif

  1. La thèse — Une idée directrice qui oppose les œuvres ou les rapproche.
  2. Le plan intégré — Trois idées communes ; dans chaque paragraphe, l’œuvre A et l’œuvre B se répondent.
  3. Les choix — Compare narration, structure et images, pas seulement l’intrigue ou les thèmes.
Réunis les deux œuvres en une phrase, puis laisse trois idées communes la porter.

En quoi une thèse diffère-t-elle d’une annonce de plan ? « Je vais comparer… » dit ce que tu feras. Une thèse défend une position que l’on pourrait contester.

Pourquoi le plan intégré vaut-il mieux qu’un plan en blocs ? Les deux œuvres se répondent partout : ton lecteur n’a pas à comparer à ta place.

Combien d’idées communes prévois-tu ? Trois.
